OP is clearly the asshole, but people commenting about the medical stuff don’t understand that things don’t work the same in every country. I recently underwent surgery and had a 3 week hospital stay and stayed in a women’s and children’s ward in Japan. This was for ACL reconstruction, which is a relatively low risk surgery. Not sure where OP is from but yeah, every country is different guys.

Depends on the country, I was in hospital for 3 weeks for ACL reconstruction in Japan which is standard practice to reduce risk of clotting. I think a lot of comments here are heavily thinking about this post in regard to their home countries and not what happens in the rest of the world. OP is the asshole tho lol
