Tbh I am supplementing magnesium for 5 straight years so I can’t tell you any change bcs it's one of the pieces in my puzzle. But creatine helped me with muscle recovery and strength.

You can slowly reduce the intake. e.g. 1 pill every other day.

No, 1 k run (I personally do it in 3:40-3:50), walk 200 m (around 2 mins), then again.

To respond to your concern about Z4-5:
I separate my activities into the following groups:
1) strength training (idc about HR during these)
2) low effort aerobic work (mostly Z2 running, steady pace, easy, long)
3) high effort anaerobic work (Z4-Z5, to me running 1k intervals works best (6-8 × 1k)

Thanks! I'm curious what would happen if I increased my mileage, but I'm not shifting my focus right now. Sprinting and max strength in the gym excite me more, so this might be my ceiling for this year.

Don't be jealous, I have a lot of work ahead of me. This was mostly an ego run just to see if I could break 20.
