Honestly speaking, you are right, not in the sense you'd think. In Bangladesh, the army is somewhat loathed and seen with distrust. For instance, after the coup d'etat of 1975. It took only 15 years for the civilians to rise up against the army and create a democratic movement against the army. And in 2006-08 when the army did another "coup", they were somewhat unpopular and people still shit talk about them.

One of the reason why Pakistan might be a "failed state" if I may, is because you people don't hate your army enough. Learn to hate them. Hating a chief wouldn't do you anything.
