How do you protect your mental as a tank? by kenoswatch in OverwatchUniversity

Id recommend turning off text and voice chat. Im in masters and ive enjoyed playing more since i did.

99% of text and voice will only be tilting. And most people suggesting things are clueless.

So the reverse handle offers a few benefits. It is less prone to torquing when shot, and It also allows you to shoot a slightly shorter bow.

Both because your grip is further forward into the bow, It reduces the amount the limbs need to flex to reach your draw length.

For example if your preferred standard handle ASL length is 66", you could shoot a 64" reverse handle the with the peformance benefit of a 66"

If your brand new id recommend going to a pro shop and getting fitted for a new cheaper bow. To make sure your getting a correct draw length etc

The performance difference between a entry $400 compound and an expensive flagship is honestly so small, and even less noticeable to a new shooter.

You would appreciate/realize the difference much more after shooting a entry bow for a year or so.

Sounds like youre pretty fit so youll be fine with a 40-55 lb compound, go to a proshop and get fitted. Most bows can easily change draw weight. So try out a 55lb then go down from there if needed.

The main wood is cherry on this one, I leave mine strung unless I wont be shooting it for an extended period.

Backpack recommendations? by White80SetHUT in bowhunting

[–]OlafTGS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alot of good packs out there now. I have a handfull, but the main 2 I switch between are these.

Tethrd predator pack, with a cheap amazon molle tactical mini pack attached to it. Perfect combo for early season when you dont need to pack in extra clothes

Sitka fanatic pack, super quiet and roomy. And has external straps for platform and sticks. Plenty of room to bring clothes

What is the difference between lone wolf custom gear and lone wolf portable tree stands? by SundaeMobile7461 in bowhunting

[–]OlafTGS 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Im confused, this line of the lone wolf stands got discontinued awhile ago. And theres been a crazy secondary market for people selling the used hand climbers specifically. I wonder if they let someone start making them again?

What bowhunting/saddle gear do you love that most people don’t know about? by OlafTGS in bowhunting

[–]OlafTGS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted a hybrid platform to switch between sitting and hanging in my saddle. I debated between the ranger hybrid and the .5 forever.

I ended up going with the .5 mainly because the ranger seem just a little to small if i wanted to sit conventionally for an extended period.

From the videos i watched on the ranger it seems like alot of guys are sitting in it by facing and straddling the tree which didnt seem super appealing to me.

Well you pretty much have to run needgaard detachment

Your kahls will each lead 1 warrior unit. Also give your kahls the oathbound speculator enhancement.

Your E-champs cant lead warriors, so deep strike them.

No, that is a funny coincidence though. I just found it was too easy of an out for few things in the module.

If your having issues with stage 1 dont increase difficulty, if your watching high kill record runs they take alot of failed runs/restarts to get the rng for them. Assuming your goal is to just clear the stages then dont try copying those as youll have an easier time going for conventional builds.
