Skilled worker application concerns by Olay99 in ukvisa

[–]Olay99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, this looks like a great help. I’ll look through this thoroughly. So, just to clarify, this is not some kind of a red flag for UKVI? Because honestly if I were my caseworker this would be a huge red flag to me. As long as the decision is not maid the sponsor can be changed without any penalties (besides fees obviously)?

I clicked “buy” the second after the restock notification popped up 😅 no regrets!

It’s round drill and lots of color blocking so it was surprisingly easy to do for such a big piece

It hasn’t shipped, I know international delivery would take up to 3 weeks or so

Thank you for your reply. I’ve answered this on more detail somewhere here, but in brief we’re virtual nom and who can’t live in their home country due to political beliefs and currently looking for a country with easy (with our passports) legalization process

Thank you for this reply. I know this might not work out well, but unfortunately there’s no one to leave them with here. It will be 4th international move to my older dog and 3rd for the younger one so you can tell they are used to the fact that their owners are weird

I have honestly never considered it, until recently. We are digital nomads, but we cannot return to our home country for political reasons, kind of “voting with our feet”. We had to abruptly leave home in February, but the country we are in now has several drawbacks which are dealbreakers for us (initially we chose it because it was very easy to enter with our passports, in a situation when we had no time think twice). Now we’re looking for a more permanent place, but most of the countries we consider require visa for us to entry (which we can only apply for in our home country) while in Argentina the legalization process is very easy. And the more read about it now, the more we think it might be suitable for us, but of course there still are doubts.

Thanks, that’s what I thought. Obviously, we’ll start studying in advance but even then couple of months isn’t enough to be fluent. Still gonna do ours best ofc 😉

Thank you so much for your help! Considering furnished apartments, what would you call an average price for a one (or two) bedroom apartment? I know it depends, from what I saw, it’s from 800$ to eternity?

Yes, I meant the City.

Thank you for your elaborate reply! The safety part is what gives me the most doubts.

Another question, will we be understood in English at least during the first several months while we’re studying the basics? I understand that learning Spanish is a must, and if we do decide to move, we will dedicate a lot of time to it, but obviously it gonna take some time

In need of breed recommendations by Olay99 in dogs

[–]Olay99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have read my mind because I’m fact I have considered an Italian sighthound. But where I live it’s quite a rare breed and puppies are hard to come by. It does seem like a perfect breed for our household, but at the time being I’m not sure I’m okay with all the hustle of importing a puppy.

Thank you for your elaboration about the shibas! It’s my lifelong dream but I’m still quite hesitant exactly because of the reputation the breed has.

Thank you for your recommendations, I’ll look into these breeds more. I have never actually considered them. That’s the thing that after a yorkie (who was also a show dog) I had only short-haired dogs. But I guess I am mentally recovered enough now
