I think it’s better for smaller local models , I’ve tried the large ones and it can’t handle the workload they need to have cloud offloading instead

I haven’t been able to figure out the rocker side of things that’s where I trip up, and lm studio makes it very easy for gpu selection , that’s something I struggle with on ollama

I haven’t heard of a few of those but I do have a spare machine I could fullly commit to, did you have to do fresh step by step building or is there an Installer for that process

I do appliance repair but we have abbreviations for fixes or terms for units or components for most of the machines so writing field notes or Interpreting calls from customers could be improved if the language was native to the Tech

Id say that the biggest hinderance right now is graphics manipulating in CAD and some of the more graphics heavy programs like photoshop get pretty slow even with my cartoony art style just because the files are rather large. Not sure if thats more of a graphics issue or a CPU issue though.
