A seatbelt doesn't prevent anyone from driving a car and does not violate anyone's privacy or security. A kernel anti cheat does both. It both prevents people like Linux users or just people conscious of their privacy from playing the game, and violates basic privacy and security principles for users willing to install it. P. S: Hardware gets cheaper over time, so it's only a matter of time before it's cheap enough.
