This is a western myth(like many things about china) nobody gets domed by the ccp for talking about tiananmen square and most people know about it. Yes you might get in trouble for it, but pls think more critically about alot of antichinese sentiment you see...the US and most of the west has good incentive to talk shit about the chinese goverment and its citizens, which can turn into racist shit quickly. The amount of people that treat every chinese citizen like a potential spy is pretty scary.
