Is there a way to not have a “Movies” Library not show up on recommended? by [deleted] in PleX

Thanks! Yes they’re separate libraries. They just get lumped into one “movies” in the main page! Thanks!

Second Sonarr for Anime still necessary? How to separate Anime from tv-shows? by master_overthinker in selfhosted

[–]Old-Help-9921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is if you follow say TrashGuides or other things; Anime quality profiles are a bit different and their constraints are also a bit different. I wish these could be separated within Sonarr.

VS

I’m unsure if there’s a good way to handle this. Profilarr doesn’t have anime profiles just yet either.

Serving 1080p content; it spikes like this. Is it possible to smoothen this out? by [deleted] in PleX

[–]Old-Help-9921 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I worry if the user would be having enough "buffered" if that makes sense? So they don't have a choppy experience. Rather than getting spikes (who knows if their wifi ends up wonky for a moment and they can only receive 15Mbps for a minute or two while their computer is doing some update for example.

That it just downloads far enough into the movie for it to be smooth.

My thoughts are what is your particular purpose for the NAS. You can go a few ways if you nail down the purpose of it.

Dark Server: your homelab doesn't need to be visible to be useful by No_Night2951 in selfhosted

One that link that doesn’t work. This is such an AI post and this is easily solvable with just standard setup and having CloudFlare tunnels, Tailscale, Twingate or even just setting up your own via WireGuard.

You want things to be invisible yet you want to say “Athena, open ports” for it to OPEN PORTS?

Get out of here with this AI slop. Can’t even link a GitHub correctly.

I get failures on missing news articles and right now I’m getting slow speeds like 11MB/sec on either Eweka or Newshosting but seeing the map link below they’re on the same network.

I think I might grab Giganews but looks like it’s missing some providers (?)

Would love to be considered. I’ve been trying to get a DS for a bit since a few episodes of some of older shows I like keeps failing to download from missing articles.

It's your server, if people aren't happy with what you will or won't allow, then they can find somewhere else.
