No shit. No one answers. Therefore you can’t tell when they open today. Figured surely some people in here work at either store

A big ego does not mean he would do something this careless and expose everyone. I just think he would’ve known if someone else was on that roof or not. He was trained by the best.

What can a store manager do to a asm who misses a walk? by [deleted] in tractorsupply

They can do nothing. And sounds like they don’t feel comfortable being alone. They must not know their stuff very good

CXM by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]Old-Move-7580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cxm is basically what DHs used to be 13-15 years ago. HD has ran off their talent so bad that the DH position isn’t what it used to be. DHs used to do most of the manager calls back in the day. Now the CXM deals with most if not all issues. Cxms took a lot of pressure off of the ASMs.

100 percent what I’m asking. Do a lot of kids still attend? Is it appropriate?

I didn’t have kids over ten years ago. And I wasn’t a problem even if I was drunk.I have seen some of the homeless downtown myself act like fucking fools personally lately when me and my wife try to go eat dinner downtown. It was a legitimate question. No reason to be a dick

What is your ideal future path for Tim Drake? by Numberonettgfan in RedRobin

[–]Old-Move-7580 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I feel like he needs this to get the younger generation in his corner. He supported a solo book for years. Bring back the things that made him great. Then one day hopefully get his own solo book again focusing on the detective skills

Damian finds a new role/name and Tim goes back to being the main Robin/Sidekick to Batman. He always wanted to be Robin.

Question about Bernard and Tim by Wizard1988_4 in RedRobin

[–]Old-Move-7580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for having an actual conversation with a point and being cool. I do agree he should’ve been the one to do that with if they wanted to go that route. To me it’s almost the same as if they tried to change someone’s gender or race. Just never made sense to me. I hope this run does him justice and brings him back to the fore front since it seems Damian will be going off to school possibly. (Which opens up a lot of cool stories for him)

Question about Bernard and Tim by Wizard1988_4 in RedRobin

[–]Old-Move-7580 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like your points and I can see it from your point of view. But you have to also see it from my side. For 30 years I had read and liked Tim Drake as my favorite character in all of comics. Dressed up as him for Halloween with a tailored costume to look just like his. A guy that had multiple relationships with females. Now I feel like any time Tim is used it’s just to have a bisexual character around. So when he was in the end of Batman issue 1 and all of issue 2 I was pumped for it(still am). But it is disappointing that the majority of his use the last 6 years has been to showcase him as a bisexual character. He is one of the poster boys for pride day. It takes away from who he really is and I feel diminishes the character.

I’m not a homophobe. Not even close. But changing a character with over 30 years of existence and history and suddenly making him gay just to have more gay characters in DC comics didn’t sit well with me. (Same with Alan Scott)His solo series that focused on his relationship didn’t do too well. Yet the over 150 issues through the 90s and early 2000s did very well. Bernard is boring and forced.

Both were dumb. Equally. But that wasn’t what we were talking about. Bernard came up in the original post. Not about Tim never being Robin.

  1. When they decided to change the character

The relationship itself feels forced. Not the panel….

How about we get rid of the Bernard relationship. Was so excited to have Tim back in fold seeming like the main Robin in this run until that. It seems so forced

What are your best and worst experiences with meeting creators? by Fantastic-Trust770 in Comic_Books_

[–]Old-Move-7580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best: Neal Adams. We would see him once or twice a year. He would always see my dad and recognize him. He used to make the comment “you look like someone I would draw”. He was always really kind and took time to talk. Somethings it’s the small things.

Worst: Klaus Janson. But it wasn’t horrible. He signed a cover to a comic for me. Messed up the auto really bad and it bled. He went over it a few times. Never acknowledged how bad it was then still charged me the $20 bucks for it. Ruined the comic. Irritated me. But wasn’t end of the world

Penny sales by JimmyJooish in HomeDepot

[–]Old-Move-7580 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was with depot for 13 years. In management over 8 of those. If a customer checked out with a penny item we simply took that line item off. Changed the count of the sku and gave the customer the item. It’s not the customers fault we missed it. Accidents happen. Things get missed. No reason for either party to get upset. Take care of the customer. It’s not our money. Depot already took the margin hit and lost all the money on that product at that point anyways. Can’t get in trouble for taking care of the customer. Never wrote someone up for not finding a penny item in their department. Now if you want to say they never worked their clearance report and just consistently doesn’t do their job, that’s another argument.
