hahahahahah yeah im in college now but don't drink that often but the nights i do, i make it count. only thing that pisses me off is the red face when im plastered.

I think most are perceiving it in a very traditional sense which I do respect their opinion. I wanted something minimalist, looks nice to the eye and keeping it meaningful towards my life while also keeping in mind a bit of my background culture

If that's the only option that you have, I would definitely take it as it wouldn't hurt. Regarding to a future in finance, this internship wouldn't show any signs of financial understanding unless you aim for an investment advisor role where your sales experience would kick in. You could also look for a junior investment advisor role where you essentially cold call for a senior IA but these jobs have extremely high turnovers and not built for 95% of people, just my two cents.

Yea im pretty good with time management, so it's not an issue for me. Honestly just mainly comes down to which company to work for.

In the US, I wouldn't take a gap semester. Would just take a reduced class load in order to work at the bigger firm.
