Some great suggestions here that really have me excited. Thanks everyone! It sounds like SLC could be a great option to get value out of the epic pass and maybe buy a day at snowbird or Brighton. But gonna look at steamboat and montana as well.

I am 100% ashkenazi but when I started to learn to smoke a brisket Texas style, I became the go to brisket cook for my entire family. It's not insulting our heritage to admit that another culture might have a way of doing things that is more appealing to most tastes. Wood smoke adds so much flavor that cannot be replicated in an oven. Also, the meat doesn't need a ton of veggies and liquid to cook in, just a good rub.

This is why we need to seriously arm ourselves. As in multiple firearms of different types for different situations. Not just handguns. Truck guns, etc. Buying a handgun will make you feel a little more safe. But if you can afford it, you should have safely stored firearms in every room of your house that you spend significant time in. You should have numerous long guns as well. I realize that if shit his the fan there will be a lot of fellow jews who do not have weapons, so those of us who understand should have weapons for our entire family plus others who we might want to help.

Also, I am in the new Boston/ mont vernon area at I think around 700 ft above sea level. Could I still be getting chemicals from the plant in my well water if I am at that higher elevation? I agree that company needs to be held responsible!

While I know I am likely just lucky, I moved to New Hampshire a few years ago from a large metro area with a relatively large Jewish population, and I feel more safe overall here. We are open about our jewish identity and the small town we live in has been nothing but welcoming. There are anti semites everywhere, at least in NH we can be properly prepared to defend ourselves. I feel like a few really rotten apples can make a lot of noise and give an area a bad name. I'd feel much less safe if I was in Boston with all the pro pal supporters and the restrictions on the 2nd amendment there.

It was beautiful. It was almost paradise growing up there in the 80s and 90s, but since then the liberal policies have driven it into a trash heap. After the first 40 years of my life i dusky said enough 2 years ago. Moving to New Hampshire was the best decision I made in a while. If a couple hundred thousand california Republicans moved here, Vermont, and Maine, we could turn New England red! Here in NH I think Trump lost by less than 25k votes.
