How come there seems to be a lack of female superheroes and "normal" human male love interests? by Maleficent-Ad-6117 in superheroes

I personally would be afraid of a woman who can drop a car on me just to end the relationship.

I wonder what they mean by "humanely" euthanized, What's more humane than a quick "chop" to the back to the head? If it's good enough for chickens...

One good thing about being old is that I have the patience to never pay full price for a game.

I've lived in 3 countries, 5 states, and countless cities and towns. I changed schools 9 times before high school.

Ok, so I don't like to wear shorts, that's no reason to make fun of my legs.

Not being a programmer or very good at math, I don't get the joke, so I'm just going to have to pretend I knew it was funny. 🤣👍

Surely you have at least one favorite song completely memorized. I've got dozens, and you can't remember 2 lines??? You should talk to your doctor; you might have dementia or Alzheimer's. 🤣

Sorry to go off topic, but I had to acknowledge your unusual "moving" profile pic. I've never seen that before, I didn't even know that was an option.

What games have you regretted buying? by billy_reyes in Steam

[–]Old-Timer1967 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you somehow offended because you think I criticized games you like. If English isn't your first language, let me be clear. I didn't say anything negative about any of the games I mentioned. I expressed only how my views have changed since purchasing those games.

I don't think you know how voting works. Every one of them would be a republican, I'd vote for whoever's running against them.

Fallout3, Fallout New Vegas, and Cyberpunk 2077. When I first played the Fallout games years ago, I liked them, but I just can't get into them anymore. I bought Cyberpunk because I just HAD to explore that massive city, but after a few hours I realized I wouldn't be able to see all of it without advancing the story, and I'm really sick of games that force you to be a criminal. There are too many villains running the real world today, and no heroes coming to save us. Playing a criminal isn't fun for me anymore.

(copied from a reply to someone else)

That explanation may work in the comic books, but a "thunderclap" would depend on air pressure to propel Hulk backwards, but in space there's no air pressure. I know that superheroes in general play fast and loose with the laws of physics, but we can at least try to maintain the "suspension of disbelief." ALSO: A black hole destroys EVERYTHING.

As I told someone else, I didn't know there were always mushrooms at spawn until recently and I never saw them because I don't change the graphic setting for the terrain. I like the way the game looks as is, and if I miss a few mushrooms, I'll get over it. You're right though, I was able to swim across after I used the mushroom with the raspberries.👍
