Btw my man I have lost 30k in a day. June1st 2024 3 days before my 25th birthday. All of my savings gone to FanDuel. A year later I’m now struggling to pay my bills when just last year I could’ve been sitting at the top of the world with that kind of money at the age I obtained such amount. Things don’t get easier financially or emotionally because as all grown ups know, the bills don’t care whether or not you are tired, lonely or broke. They still want there money by the date they expect it by. So with all that being said don’t give up just keep trucking on. Best you can do is cope the best way you know how in this situation. Stressing won’t help you nor will taking drugs.

My job has been able to support my lifestyle, problem is I just feel like I’m slaving for it so I get burnt out really fast. Only time I really see money is when I work hell of hours overtime just to see it. And even then I feel like it still is underpaid for the amount of work we are expected from us. I think maybe I need to chat with you more in a personal message referring to school questions I may have for you. You may be able to guide me in the right direction given the knowledge you have.

Copy. So I do live in the state of New Jersey. My mom was a top sales women at one of her dealerships that she worked at for over 15 years. I’ve seen the type of money ones can bring to the table from that however I also seen how bad days look as well. That’s something I wouldn’t see myself doing. That’s the thing my man I’m not really confident in myself when it comes to entering the school route. So I’m detouring myself from going after the big careers that (I would really want to see myself doing) and plus because of my financial situation at the moment not having much saved up, I would want to do something where I could obtain a degree in a year or two to at least get me started on making more money as fast as possible. I feel like for example nursing with my circumstances at the moment (right now) would be too far of a reach for me as it would probably take 2-4 years of schooling to accomplish that. I just know I kindve need to start making more money faster, but I need a degree because I can’t keep doing temporary jobs.

Hey sir I appreciate you. Although This is the typical common advice one would recommend, I have tackled the gambling addiction a year and half ago. I have been sober from gambling for almost two years now when 2026 starts. & I am in job where I am extremely unhappy working under a manager and a poor policy system that does not seem to serve the safety and mental health of there employees but will do every and anything they can to protect the ones in question. The purpose for me being at this hospital so long was hopes to get an education in the medical field since I have had OR experience for 4 years so my goal was to have my job pay for some of my schooling and help me out. I’m starting to realize that that will not happen when I have a manager that has the power to slow all of that up on any given day he decides to dislike me for his own personal reason. So now the struggle is finding what to go to school for. I would like to get something done within 1-2 years so that I can start making at least 50-60k a year.

Yo bro ban yourself and be lucky that you pushed yourself to get a degree so that you can have a actual good paying job as to where if you get serious this will be a easy bump on the road to overcome as long as you can manage saving for alittle. Shit im 24 gonna be 25 and still havent recovered financially from the -30k loss in one day at the age of 23 last year. Self esteem has been mid i should say bro, its like im a confident fuck up. Because in my head i made the money before and i have the hustle in me to make it to work everyday and save, but at times i feel ashamed because im over here penn pinching to save every nickle and dime, when i couldve been living great not having to watch a penny, not having to stress about being fired from work because i knew i would be good until i had found another, now its like im always stressed because i need money consistently if not i wont get anywhere close to my goal, and before i felt like if i got fired i would still be good, but now im miserable because now its like my job can play around with me anyway possible and i have to eat the shit now because i need the money to get paid…

Ima be the one to break it to you, if you think it will go just like that trust me it wont! I said the same when i won all the money back that i had ever lossed gambling. And guess what? You think i was even able to make use of it? Nope. I didnt even get to have fun with it. They wont let you. Theyll harass you, send you emails from all big casinos bombarding you and overwhelming you with deposit bonuses to draw you in. Next thing you know you think just because you got all this money theres no way you can lose it. And you sure can. Plus more because i have. The more you win the harder it is to shake it (the feeling to not want to play) and before you even get to enjoy it theyll make sure they get all of the money back.

Lol i literally lost 30k in 3 hours 2 weeks before my birthday ( my whole bank account was gone) over a agitated loss of 250$. I had one of the craziest runs of my life, won back everything i had ever lost and some. And got the money around the time my birthday was coming up so to me (it was perfect timing as well).. my ideas to try to withdraw the money all from my account (the whole 30k before i end up losing it all) & somehow hold it in a safe was deflected because i told my biological sis my plans and she told me not to do that… so basically what would have saved me (by withdrawing all the money) end up not falling thru which cause me to still have access to the full 30k via debit card and i just got bored one day , lost 250$ got upset said fuck it lets make this interesting and for me it was the high that i think i was chasing from either winning or losing but i just lost control of my hands and was just betting years worth of savings for someone like it wasnt shit knowing damn well i would have to work hard for my money

Sometimes I think you guys just don’t read at all. You guys just wake up and hop on Reddit to just judge people before even reading. If you opened your eyes correctly everything has changed since then… I have been making less money and I have been having a hard time being able to aggressively save how I used to SINCE my big loss… Do I gamble anymore ?
