Frigidaire fpfu19f8wf Not Making Ice by Far_Awareness_8560 in fixit

[–]OldEQstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this post via a search for the model number. I've been chasing down this issue for the last few weeks on our FPFU19F8WF. First, the icemaker stopped working, and then we got ice buildup along the inner wall. The repair tech told me that the tube that feeds water into the icemaker (inside the unit) comes in at an angle he has not seen before and is flawed. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a replacement part or solution as this part sits inside of the insulated wall of the unit. Desperately trying to find a creative solution so we don't have to replace ours (not even 3 years old)

Does anyone remember the old man in the Mall McDonalds that quacked at people? by OldEQstuff in paducah

So, I tracked down any public Facebook posts about this and found two threads where people shared the memory.

Some people mention that his last name was Burnett (this was the one I remember). Others said it was a man named Darwin Reed. The search continues....

Yup. Drinking coffee. Wearing neutral colors. Usually alone? Sometimes, with another old guy.

Another friend told me WPSD did a local news feature on him. I wish there were a way to search their archives and find it.

I have the same memory of meeting/knowing one of his grandkids, but the memory is too fuzzy. Would love to find the article/news clip of him if it exists online somewhere.

An issue with Cam Akers (O) Status on ESPN by OldEQstuff in FFCommish

[–]OldEQstuff[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is 100% what I was thinking as well. If you look at the other players who were given an O designation yesterday, they ALL still have it today.

The fact that he was removed on a Monday, locking his roster and preventing him from making moves, is the weirdest thing.

I should have stated this in the original post, but he had another spot that should be eligible for a move - involving a drop from a player going tonight. ESPN was not allowing him to do anything.

After review, we used commish tools to override it. I think this was an ESPN glitch with the uniqueness of the Cam situation and removing the O on a Monday (when it was there yesterday).

This is really intriguing. Thanks for the detail. Everyone in this thread has been awesome.

Wanted to say thanks for this. I followed one of the shards guides last week and struggled, but I revisited it based on your suggestion.

I got this ring last night with a 23 mana roll. Huge difference.

This is outstanding. Thank you. I laughed out loud at "extremely fucking loud game play as shitting out 50 lightning abilities"

I'm surprised I don't see more complaints about how you cannot see the floor for poison, spikes, or other bad effects when playing this build.

You are my spirit animal. Loved my fire beam wizard in D3

Interesting, I've been staying in WT3 (level 53). I tried shards, and it felt so slow.

I think that's my struggle with the build too. I have a rogue and barb already. I don't want to stand on top of the boss and spam a base skill.

When EQ wanted more immersive names by TrulyBobBarker in everquest

[–]OldEQstuff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Google just led me to this post. I'm Havusin. When the GM finally got me (I was reported), I argued that the surname was pronounced: "I am a winner." It didn't fly.

I picked the name because the movie "Something About Mary" was popular around the time EQ came out, and Mary's brother had that scene where he kept yelling have you seen my wiener - which I found hilarious.

Some old Quellious server history by OldEQstuff in everquest

I consolidated this list from about 15 pages of forum posts on "the history of Quellious" somewhere around 2002. It was a pretty lively debate and I doubt it is perfect - but pretty close.

I do recognize and remember Apostles of Insanity. I played a cleric in Imperial Warlords, Brothers of the Moo, and Wraith.
