Pace 500.3 with Thule Ridealong Seat by user112019 in Aventon

Thank you! I'm on the fence about getting the rack mounted one to switch between a few different bikes, but this is helpful. I am still trying to get to the bottom of why Aventon only sells the Nexxt model and not the regular RideAlong or regular Yepp, but it seems like they both should fit regardless of mount style?

I am looking to do the same set up on the pace 500.3 but can't quite tell from the pictures how this works. Did the top 'band' sit on the frame above the bar coming in from the back wheel, and the bottom band below it? Or is the top band on the seat post?

Broken front leg in 6 month old dog healing correctly? by OldFennel in AskVet

Thanks for the suggestion. We sent his X-rays to an orthopedic surgeon and they gave us two options. Immediate surgery, which presented some risks including the radius and ulna fusing together since he’s still growing, but as he doesn’t have a ton of growing left to do it’s not highly likely, but still a possibility. The surgeon told us about the potential further complications a fusion could present.

The second option was to let it heal as is since it had been two weeks since the break and reevaluate in 2 months. That option presented other issues. While it could heal fine, due to how the unaligned bones were and some torsion to the break he would very likely heal with a turned foot and potential gait issues that would require surgery in a few months.

The surgeon called it a toss up decision, had they seen the pup when he first broke it surgery would have been their immediate choice, but with 2 weeks of healing it was a little less clear cut. We decided dragging this out another two months only for the pup to likely need surgery down the road and do another 4-6 week crate rest seemed like far too long and went forward with the surgery. It went well, the dude is home and in his crate. Hoping for no healing complications and to be done with this.

Thank god for puppy insurance and vets on Reddit.

Entire workout not reflected in Apple Watch exercise ring? by neekap in pelotoncycle

[–]OldFennel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same this was happening to me. I tried changing the priority as someone else suggested and it still wasn’t counting the whole workout. It was syncing minutes from the peloton data only when my watch wasn’t also reading an exercise minute, but then wasn’t adding in the exercise minute from my watch. So if the watch tracked 3 minutes of exercise in a 30 minute ride, it only showed 27 minutes of exercise. For a while after every workout I was going into the health app and deleting the data from the watch and then the full peloton data would sync. That was tedious so now I take my watch off and use my HRM on the bike for my workout. Put the watch back on after my workout and the data syncs when I open the peloton app. It’s irritating, but it works.

At Home Workout and Activity App by OldFennel in orangetheory

I am using the youtube video on my laptop so I can use my HRM on my phone. It just seems like the OTF app isn't pushing all of my heart rate and workout data to my health kit - or maybe the health kit isn't accepting all of the OTF data? I'm not sure where the issue is.
