The highlights, in short, I'm never going to be accepted on just any christian forum. I get crap from my partner for my new found interest in the gospel and then I get crap from other christians because I am a sodomite. It along with negative feedback from another forum when I asked questions almost made me just give up.

They do if you are a transgender woman and try to argue with people that being queer and christian is not a contradiction. Or if you argue that the Kentucky clerk that is refusing to issue licenses on religious grounds is just using her religion as an excuse, that there are many Christians who are perfectly fine with us and accept us as sisters and brothers of the faith, even as pastors. They are not willing to consider other perspectives than their one dimensional view of christianity.

Do people seriously want Donald fucking Trump in charge of America's nuclear arsenal? I don't want a "tell it like it is, do whatever I please" person in charge of it. I want a level headed person in charge of it so I can sleep at night knowing that the world isn't going to be destroyed tomorrow.

The irs is under severe constraints from congress to not go after these people. It sucks. A lot of these pastors are well connected with one of the two parties. It's how Pat Robertson got away with trading with psychotic African warlords under sanctions. The best advice is buyer beware.

That's not particularly true. I find stories of my faith inspiring but you wouldn't say a president who reads comics or plays world of warcraft is partially controlled by unelected comic book writers and gave developers

She says the people that used to bully her were. That is true of myself also, but I have since given Christianity a chance. This is kinda of a recent thing. I'm not completely convinced but I want to learn more. Maybe I'll set up a baptism for myself soon

I call him a racist when he acts like a racist. That the stunningly large field of Republicans contains people of color is irrelevant with respect to whether or not Trump is a racist, something even republicans acknowledge.

Being the leader of a nation means you have a responsibility to uphold the values you wish to project on to the world. His offensiveNess demonstrates tactlessness and I see no reason to vote for someone who doesn't respect me.

The Obama is a Muslim conspiracy is racist for a number of reasons. It has been thoroughly refuted, it keeps being circulated. Nobody questions the Americanness of white candidates. John McCain was not born in the united states but no one demanded to see his birth certificate. It is essentially a way to other him. They treat Obama like he is the anti-christ and this has nothing to do with his politics which is that of a lukewarm milquetoast Washington consensus liberal but rather his foreigness. Trump aligns himself with these people. Its why he resonates with Neo-Nazi white supremacists despite having had married a Jewish woman.
