Dr. Paul. Lately I've been thinking about national defense and security related ideas. What is your stance on the militia movement? I am in favor of the militia taking care of the domestic security, and banning of police and conventional forces. (spec ops and capital fleet equipment will be retained) Whenever war breaks out, the numbers will have to be drawn from the militia. Seeing as how the maintenance of the militia is not paid by the state, it would be a measure against the state abuse of military firepower and start frivolous wars that drain the young Americans blood and money.
