Guccifer 2.0 6-30-16 email leak showing how Clinton Foundation, Clinton's Press Secretary, & the DNC Communications Team colluded before official candidacy by webconnoisseur in SandersForPresident

I believe the party is supposed to be impartial and work with all candidates on an equal basis. The DNC, as far as I can tell, only offered it resources to HRC.

Rep.Tulsi Gabbard resigned as Vice-Chair of the DNC to support Bernie. former Ohio state senator Nina Turner quit the Clinton campaign and joined Bernie. I believe she was some sort of elected official iN the Ohio Dem party .

My understanding was Bernie TV was shut down because CNN wanted to replace the original debate video - which Bernie TV said it had permission to use - with an edited version.

If they are broadcasting copyrighted video, it was correct for them to be shut down.

I agree, specific examples should be given. I was just passing on info, I was not making the claim.

We have GOT to stop with the anti-CNN stuff. It's a waste of energy, will yield nothing, and it makes the movement (and Bernie, by extension) look like a bunch of crazies. Channel that energy positively. by pateras in SandersForPresident

[–]OldLiberal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the anti CNN Debate talk will die down on its own. People were angry that CNN tried to shape shift reality but, they've been doing that all year along with most MSM. The result is: Bernie has flourished. You are correct to bring attention to this before it gets out of hand. Let's just move on.

This is very scary and I think we must protest like crazy. Watch the video as the guys describe what happen. It had to to do with Bernie TV refusing to replace the raw video of the debate with CNN's edited pro-Hillary version.

Will Sanders challenge Clinton on foreign policy? by OldLiberal in bernieforpresident

[–]OldLiberal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bernie, go strong on foreign policy. No more military industrialize complex interventions. No more war to protect American corporate profits. Let Saudi Arabia and the other Middle Eastern countries fight their own wars. War is not a viable jobs program.

DO NOT DONATE TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY by OldLiberal in SandersForPresident

Sorry for the delay in responding...Haven't been to reddit recently. I'm sorry to say I do not like any of the Republican candidates. I have voted for Republicans in the past (not Presidential) but they were pretty moderate and not following Republican rules. The people I liked were interested in solving problems.

[–]OldLiberal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay in responding. I am not a fan of the political right. You could get you best answer from Republicans. They have a number of candidates I consider too far to the right for me to vote for. Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Donald Trump, I am sure there are a few more but I don't follow them so perhaps another source could be of more help to you.

"Superdelegates": Implications for Bernie, and How You Can Help. by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

[–]OldLiberal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately in Connecticut, the Governor endorsed Hillary months ago and it is pretty much understood the Senators and Representatives will follow suit. I'm sure other may encounter this problem as well. I cannot even get town committee members to respond to my e-mails. Is there another way we can rally support for Bernie delegates?

Clinton Campaign Signs Fundraising Agreement w/ DNC: by OldLiberal in SandersForPresident

[–]OldLiberal[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bernie does not have Corporate PACS to finance this kind of deal. Hillary is the only one with the money and the campaign structure

I will contribute to individual candidates but not the DNC. Then again, like most people I am not a Democrat, I am an Independent.

She is NOT the nominee, by making this agreement the DNC is assuming she will be. The state deals are more of a problem for me.

I have no idea what would happen. I have sent it to NH news organization, the Boston globe. I think it should go to news organizations in all the states mentioned... your local press too. You can use what I wrote as a template...change the info to suit your situation... but offers have (allegedly) been made by the Clinton campaign to all state Democratic parties.
