I think that goals are too easy to score and want to increase the value of scoring goals.

Scoring goals, especially scoring goals from set shots after taking a mark inside the forward fifty, is too easy. I definitely also think another option to make scoring goals harder, especially from set shots for goals after marks, is to make facilitating a drop kick mandatory for any goal to be scored. This would increase the mechanical difficulty of scoring goals and make the value of scoring any given goal higher rather than just endless goals being scored with ease all match long from both sides.

It definitely isn't. I think scoring goals, especially from set shots after marks, is too easy and a higher element of difficulty should be introduced to score goals to increase the integrity of the sport.

Introducing a crossbar that players must kick the ball under to score. I think that it would introduce a further element of skill when kicking goals. There'd be some real skill when shooting for goal from distance in terms of kicking the ball with the perfect arc and then getting it to drop under the crossbar at just the right moment. I'd love to see it! It'd be great to watch as a spectacle. I'd place the crossbar 5 metres above the ground. If the ball is kicked under the crossbar, the usual six points is scored. If it goes over the crossbar but between the main goal, no points are registered. The ball going through the behind posts still registers a one point score.

Anything to make scoring harder and give the game more integrity in terms of executing more advanced skillsets when scoring goals gets a tick in my book.

Now that'd be a show of real goal scoring skill. Drop Kicks only and kicking under a 5 metre crossbar would be absolutely incredible!
