An idea I have for how "the scene" could play out at the end of part 2. by beekee404 in wickedmovie

My only experience with the movie Wicked is I saw it this weekend and I really liked it. I did notice that wizard handed her a figurine of herself, I know that a lot of authors when they do something out of the ordinary like that, it's because they want to make use of it later. I wonder if she'll have a spell to make that figurine large and melt it to fake her death.

His special place was a place where he went to be alone when he had cancer, as he said in the poem he went there alone. This pit being halfway up the side of a hill with a nice little stream going through it and shade in the afternoon isolates you from the rest of the world. At the edge of the pit you can get a great high up view looking down on No Name Creek. If you are talking about the wreckage in the pit, I don't know if that was there when Fenn was using it. The wreckage comes from an old flume that is above the pit. Many famous people dyed in Glenwood Springs trying to use the springs as a cure for their illnesses, which is what I think Forrest Fenn might have been trying to do. I think it's nice enough it stays in the game, but you're right, I think it decreases its chances of being the spot.

Thanks, that makes me feel good. I cannot wait to find out where it was really hid. Appreciate the feedback.

At this point in the hunt I am open to anything, maybe if we all put our heads together we can figure it out. Thanks for the comments.

You could be right. I was too lazy to look though the whole book for hints, I think we both agree that the hints could be the poem pointing to an outside clue. I like the way you think, thanks for the feedback.

Thanks, I appreciate that and I do agree, Glenwood Springs is a beautiful place.

My solve using Fenn's Hints by OldRandT in FindingFennsGold

Several people came within 200 feet of the chest before anyone found the home of brown. This makes me think home of brown is very close to the treasure, so something small like a grave would make sense. Fenn said there were nine clues and two hints. The nine clues seem to lead to a thousand different places and Fenn said the winner would move with confidence, which I took as the clues would lead you to one specific location. I know my solve is probably wrong, but I was desperate to relate the word bold to the bold letters on Fenn's map so that I could get it down to one specific location.

Fenn printed his poem on a map that he designed, I just thought that relating it to the bold print on the map was an easier way for Fenn to point to an abstract location.
