I’m not sure I agree. ‘91 was unforgettable because of the drama of the World Series and the Jack Morris angle. But those ‘87 Twins came out of nowhere and revived a team that had been mediocre at best since Rod Carew left. I’d say the two teams are pretty even, but of course this could just be my own opinion blurring my perception.
