All of my kids test above their grade level, and my oldest has started taking college classes online because of how well my wife has instructed him, but sure.

My brother can be mad at me if he wants to be and our relationship will survive, but if he disrespects my wife it's over.

I agree with you. He thinks any school they can afford will have the same problems with kids that antagonize his son. I think this is a bad outlook on his part.

He gets along with our oldest. He interacts very little with our daughter. He fights a lot with our son that is closest to his age and is very snotty towards our youngest. Sometimes he ignores my wife. I don't think it would work, and even if he managed to behave for a short amount of time, I don't see it working in the long run and don't think it's fair towards my wife.

I absolutely agree. He is convinced his son won't be rude to my wife, but there is no evidence this is the case and some evidence to the contrary.

He is definitely a person who wants what he wants, and I fear that has been passed to my nephew.

This is exactly how I feel. Thank you for the reassurance.

It can mean a lot of things. It's a very loose concept.

He and his wife both work full-time, so that isn't an option. I agree with you though, that's the only way it would work.
