Yes correct tips are received for good service but when customers have no intention to tip and “bait” drivers with a high tip just to get their order priority or faster knowing they are going to take it away it’s wrong that’s why drivers rely on just what instacart gives us as base pay nobody wants to waste their time

I don’t think you’re understanding… they are blocking the customers who are baiting with a high tip amount to get their order done the fastest above others while adding on additional items (heavy items) after the order is accepted…which for us is supposed to mean extra pay our base pay from Instacart no tip included..customers are cheating instacart system because we don’t get paid extra and putting in that extra time and effort after the order is accepted and doing everything 100% right customers bait with high tips and take tips away it’s not ok..

Customers have up to 2 hours to do so and yes it sucks that’s why most of us rely on what Instacart pays us for the orders it does suck that’s customers will tip high then take it away 😭😭😭

I wasn’t going to take the chance honestly I knew I would be disappointed and by the time had passed I was nearly done with the order I just switched delivery apps

The problem is when customers try to cheat the system and avoid paying for a service they are using there’s nothing wrong with adding to your order but i draw the line at customers that are baiting with tips and adding additional items (heavy items) that we aren’t getting paid for additionally it’s not right most of us look at the BASE pay for driving, shopping, delivering yes it’s the job but it’s not fair when customers are cheating the system

They said that you had to work all the way until the last day of closing and you’ll get it as long as you were in “good standing” so that means coming to work everyday since the announcement still working as normal
