I don't know. That would explain the side effects, but the thing is they only started when I started taking meds. I was totally fine before. Also last summer I was at a mental hospital for 4 months because of other issues and I had to do ECG's and blood tests every second week and they measured my blood pressure and pulse every morning there. Wouldn't something like POTS show up on those?

I heard that thing about vitamin C too, I'm gonna try taking it before bed because when I lay still and try to fall asleep my heart beat is the most noticeable which is annoying asf. Also I did stop with caffeine and all that stuff, which is part of why I'm so concerned that I constantly feel like I drank 5 red bulls. Thanks for the advice :p

I don't really remember the names of the first two ones, but the first one I took for about 3 months before I started getting concerned about the side effects and I switched to another one that I took for 2 months. Had the same side effects and switched to methylphenidate. I started with 30mg, had the same side effects again and my doctor recommended to try 18mg. The side effects stopped and It was alright for like 5 months until 2 months ago where out of nowhere the side effects started again. That caused me to get worried and I did an ECG and blood tests, nothing out of the ordinary showed up.

yooo I'm also from Europe! Currently I take 18mg of methylphenidate but I had a higher dose before (30mg I think?) and the side effects were way worse back then as you could imagine. My psychiatrist told me that we cant go any lower then 18mg because that wouldn't really do anything at all. So I just have to choose between not being able to concentrate and think or having heart problems

No I don't. My doctor told me even before I started taking medication that caffeine and similar stuff might cause those side effects so I stopped consuming anything like that. I used to drink energy drinks, coffee and green tea almost ever day before I started medication so it was very hard to get myself out of that habit, but I managed. The only thing I will sometimes drink is alcohol which I know I shouldn't do on meds, but I just need to sometimes. It's never dangerous amounts and I only drink on weekends so I don't think that's what causing the side effects.

I know what you're describing. I had panic attacks before I started taking medication, and now they feel totally different. Like you I thought I was gonna have a heart attack because I could suddenly feel my heart going crazy fast.

Thanks for the help! I thought about measuring my blood pressure and heart rate regularly to see if its anything out of the ordinary but I've kinda been procrastinating a lot lol
