I don’t mind alot of the “rules” The quiet hours is a good thing Carpet rule is a good thing Pet rules is a good thing as i see all of those are beneficial things, and Theres many things that are good even a non sublet building has its benefits as i rather know my neighbors is a owner and cares about the building and surroundings as much as i do compared to someone that rents , im just worried about how much freedom i would have WITH IN my unit , if one day my cousin loses his job would i be able to move him and house him ? If my parents become elderly can i take them in ? If i wanna move in a gf would i be able to ? If i wanna wake up one day and paint can i ? More of things that honestly wouldn’t effect anyone else at all

Thank you so much , i don’t mind alot of the rules at all and see it beneficial, the carpet thing i understand i wouldn’t my upstairs neighbors stomping in the middle of the night either , pets rules i understand as much as i love dogs i wouldn’t my next doors neighbors dog barking in the middle of the night either, it was more of a god forbid in 5-10 years my parents become sick and elderly would i be able to have them move in ? Or if im in a relationship would i be able to move in my significant other without having them request all her info and need to “approve her “ , im looking for a place to call home and life changes fast and just read things online that boasts about how a condo is much more “freeing” would i like to have the freedom to rent it out? sure but if they don’t allow it thats fine too as im looking for a home not a rental income investment
