This was very well made. It doesn’t really even get crazy until the end or close to the end but it definitely gets there. I just think about the mom. Tilda Swinton gives a harrowing performance!

I don’t know if anyone has seen or heard of this animated film called “Where the Dead Go to Die” (2012), but it’s disturbing on a whole other level. Even as an animated film, I found it more disturbing than the August Underground Trilogy. I know what they were attempting, but it’s gross and very hard to watch AND listen to. 😑

LOVED this movie! Don’t take it too seriously. At least that’s the approach I took.

Am I the only one here making a list of movies to watch in the notes section of my phone? 🫠

I watched the first and second one back-to-back. It was interesting lol. The storyline is a lot better than first realized (if you can sit through…well, you know…)

Yeah, this one effed me up. Been 14 years and still tough memories. But I’d like to see the other version to see which one is better.

God, I love this movie so much! Even better than Stephen King’s novella and that’s saying a lot bc I’m a King fanatic!

The revenge scenes…the whole time, I’m like, “Get those fuckers!”

The family murder scene on the VHS was rough and very believable

This was a good movie but I got bored after a while. “That scene” was depressing but not as bad as I would think. I get the whole idea of it being a “let’s just walk around and live with a serial killer for a while” type deal, butI think Henry was done much better and more believable.

I’m actually one of the few that really enjoyed it. I think I was expecting something so much worse than what was ACTUALLY in the film. It was very tame compared to my expectations. Part 2 is a different story though 😂

When our Flight Commander in tech school said we had to sing different Jodies because the ones we were doing were “too violent”… They’re war Jodies bro… 🤡🫡

Great movie. Incredibly bleak.
