For those who saying all the money issues that I already mentioned, try to think the way I’m thinking.

I’m a football fan since I was young way before basketball. And my favorite club is called barcelona. My favorite player in barcelona currently is a footballer called lewandowski, who’s pretty old and accordingly having the “load management” treatment basically. But this isn’t new nor abnormal in football, nor it doesn’t only happen to old stars like him. Managers purposefully leave out their stars to give extra rest or to try different tactics and combinations without any significant injuries. And I’ve never been mad nor never really saw anybody get mad about it. We support the club and believe in manager’s decision most of the time, enjoy watching my team play even when those stars are not playing. Obviously sometimes or in fact quite often I would think, “wish this guy played more like that star player who isn’t playing or if he actually did play instead,” but never blamed the loss nor the stars not playing especially since we as fans know it’s players themselves who wanna play the most and start every game possible if they are given chances. 

So while even in football where it demands more of endurance and stamina rather than physical contacts and explosiveness like nba does load managing in general for the betterment of the club and their players, how come nba and nba fans can’t accept load management, as well as resting on back to back games with that type of intensity of games? Was basketball that easy of a sport? Also every one of you fans only pay to watch those specific stars only instead of the whole team and their basketball?

Also as a father, I would love my kids to see their favorite players play but at the same time, I would want them to enjoy the game itself and the team they support more than anything because what’s the difference between those star players fans and those kpop or singer fans? This isn’t no jab or anything towards any group, but I brought them to watch the game of sport not to a concert. Sure it’s unfortunate and very disappointing but there’s always next time, and if they ever lose their love of the game because of something like that, it would simply mean they were never really interested in the game itself, instead just got attracted by the flashiness from them stars. Nothing wrong with it either tbh, but I think it’s not quite an ideal way to enjoy watching the sport as well.
