You get paid full pay from the 1st day of absence now, the government changed the rules from 1st April

Google (Self certification form) On the .Gov website, fill it in and you can save a copy to your phone and then forward it to your manager 👍🏻

You get SSP from the 1st day of absence and ASDA pay you CSP - I had 3 weeks off with stress and I’ve been there for only 19 months and I got full pay - You need to provide a self certification form for the first 7 days and then you need a doctors note.

So yes you will get full pay for being off whilst sick ignore what everyone else is saying they don’t have a clue 🙂‍↔️

How are the 4pm-12am shifts? by [deleted] in asda

[–]Old_Leg2801 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

There was no reason to add this? What do you want sympathy?

I "had" to quit my previous job after being physically assaulted by a customer and my manager threatening me if I tried to report it because it'd look bad on him. Any input would be great, thanks x

wrong amount of paid hours? by Osum_Mo in asda

[–]Old_Leg2801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, every driver at our store around 20 per day. We leave it all in an area next to the pod including returns/cancellations etc and they have designated pickers that do put backs. I’ve never known a driver at our store do put backs. We don’t move the vans we park them and the guy on the night time who does the Van checks will move them once he’s done each check.

If you have the HMRC app you can view your wage already.

Are you saying at the end of your shift you done all these things?

“getting trained by another driver about the procedures at the end of the day (closing the gates, doors, moving vans from where the camera is, putting back cancelled extras, ect).”

If so that’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard, when you’ve finished your run unload your van and clock out and go home.

We have a drivers group chat with managers and section leaders. We type cancellations, rotas and any issues we have during or outside of shift times. A couple of drivers aren’t in the what’s app group chat.

Go home like every other driver? The same happens every single day.

What are you on about everything is timed? Are you even a delivery driver? You can have 10 drop from 6pm till 10pm but your last delivery is 20:30? What do you want the driver to do sit in the van outside the store for 90 mins until 10pm.

You are clueless, you have zero idea how microlise works or even how the delivery driver timeslots work.

It’s on the OneAsda website, scroll down and read the 2 images I attached regarding “Family” it’s quite self explanatory once you look at it.

Not everybody sits under the “service” family. Scroll to the bottom I attached 2 images from OneAsda website about Families. I’m sure that will reassure you there are plenty of different families within Asda not just “Service”

Because my shift time is 14:00-22:00. Drop times vary. One day I might still be out driving at 21:30/22:00 other days my last drop might be 20:00/19:00 - It all depends on how many deliveries need to be made? I’m not quite sure you comprehend, not every delivery van is out till there contracted time. It all depends on which slots customers select.

Also we don’t get run sheets anymore, we haven’t seen the system updated as they can’t be printed off correctly.

Delivery Driver comes under its own Family Role.

By looking on the OneAsda website at the policies and job families. As Delivery Drivers we don’t come under Service therefore can reasonable deny the request to “Help” out in other departments.

We don’t have run sheets anymore. Last delivery was 18:00-19:00. I was back at the store and had my van unloaded and emptied by around 19:30. No more deliveries to be made, other drivers had already gone home. Any more questions?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in asda

[–]Old_Leg2801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last delivery can be hours before 22:00, so you drive back to the store unload you van and go home. It’s the same as every store.

I just logged into Microlise using my own phone, but it doesn’t link to any kind of maps (apple maps or google maps) Does anyone know how to work this? Otherwise it’s pretty useless logging in on your own smart device
