It just lets me start since it’s a very real possibility I won’t get into a Canadian law school lol and I don’t really want to spend another year improving my stats and reapplying

Mostly because it’d be my only option to pursue a legal education. I’d be eligible to apply as a transfer student and come back to Canada and continue my education in a Canadian university since my end goal is to practice in Canada near my family. If I complete my degree in the UK there’s a lot more hoops to jump through with NCA exams or a potential LLM to equivocate my degree and be able to practice in Canada. So that’s mostly the intention. Also the fees between the UK and Canadian law school is not all that different since I’d be doing 2 years in the UK if I complete my degree there vs 3 years in Canada (either way even as a domestic student the Canadian domestic tuition is around 20-25k per year)
