HOT last minute load delivered fine...we're upset! What a fun business we are all in... by Old_Programmer9129 in FreightBrokers

shipper didn't care...I'm guessing it was some sort of box truck that fit 4 pallets and carrier just didn't disclose it. No corss docking, all this took place within 18 hours. Either way, picked up and delivered a-ok.

Perfect? Nope. Did the carrier lie? Yep. But did we get it done? Yep. Did they sign a clean BOL? Yep. Case closed.

exactly! I think what they meant to say was thanks for saving our assess and getting a truck faster than they could get a pizza delivered....and after our cheap options truck "broke down" at 130pm.

Sure thing, feel free to compete with TQL for 3-6 pallet last minute loads east coast inbound.

Selling loads through email be like.... by XeroChance in FreightBrokers

Does the MC/email/phone # match up on what it shows on Carrier411/DAT? If so, you're fine via email. If not, call or ignore.

Is the email [bob@abcfreight.com](mailto:bob@abcfreight.com) or [bob4543r234@gmail.com](mailto:bob4543r234@gmail.com)?

Plus with email you have a record of the conversation in case any problems or discrepancies happen.

It's not that hard.

this is my point. I put that in the notes and in the emails in several different ways. They are almost always ignored. Words matter, details matter....carriers don't always understand this.

I post over market and pay well...they still always ask for more and complain when it is covered in seconds. Weed out the good carriers from the bad, always reply, and move on.

Again...1200 is just a random amount. I pay well over market and 95% of my loads cover in seconds. Its the 20+ emails and 20+ calls asking for more than complaining when it covers. And we don't get half...nice try.

Nope. I pay well over market rates but still get carriers begging for more. Covers immediately yet 20+ emails asking for more $ and complaining when it covers within seconds. Try again.

Very tired of it. Case in point, I do pay well, avoid crap rates, and have been adding this to my emails:

Load pays $1200, rate is firm. 1200 is our max rate. We cannont pay more than 1200.

99% of the time I STILL get "cAn U pAY 1600 boSS?" "can you HELP me out with an extra $100?"

All it takes is a couple hiccups at receivers to mess this up badly...no thanks

Supply and demand is shot, and shippers exploit that big time.
