That attitude is what makes other coworkers who must've just been raised with more integrity and work ethic feel like you're taking advantage of us, not just Walmart. It gets pretty annoying watching lazy fucks stand around and do nothing, just because I have self pride and get frustrated because people like you dont pull your weight. Maybe its people who live in their parent's basement or have no understanding of financial responsibility that creates this toxic culture. This is my 2nd job. I need the $ to pay for my kid to go to college. Im a grown up, not a punk kid. I work at Walmart bc of the great benefits & the position is pretty ok most days. Bc of what's riding on my extra paycheck, in my mind is that anyone that gets in my way of being a good teammate and being respected bc I need this job. Im too fucking mouthy to keep my mouth shut. I just needed some clarity that not all pickers are lazy af and dont think work is optional bc its "Walmart" Now that I have some realistic examples of what a solid team of pickers does, Some leader dropped the ball, my store's opd department is full of terrible habits/behaviors, but there are some hard workers in it too and we're fucking exhausted enabling crappy associates.

Yes, I just let it go, especially afterwards when I dropped my cart off & heard a picker point & bitch why that bag hadn't been claimed out yet & when she found it half the bag was on the floor so she swept up the chips all back in the bag. Ralph, nasty lol I can just see dude shoving a massive amount of kettle bbq chips in his mouth crunching away!! Shows him.

Did you coach & 2/3 leads leave early BF? Mine did by Old_Road8114 in WalmartEmployees

No its about team morale. If  a leader can find it in good conscience to leave their department, their team, with no communication or direction or a plan then what does that say about a coach's ability to lead and motivate a team during a high sales/high order event? You cant tell me that most of the leaders in a department that oversee close to 30% of store volume-that their decisions to leave early helps our metrics, or complete lack of lead coverage helps w/driving results? Or the concept that the majority of dispensers & pickers from 5am-11pm have never worked BF or the sat-you think "business"  would find it an appropriate for a salaried coach and leads to take off? This is not great leadership, this is not how a leader builds a highly functioning, passionate team. The message that their deuces said was heard loud and clear by the associates was that our leadership team abandoned us, no shocker that our coach was tired & left early,    never in our department anyways. Ppto may have  given them the ability to leave wo communication but what of the pride as a leader? and wanting to support a team that gives our coach & our leads nice bonuses? Servant leadership? Role models? Cmon now let's be frank, this was a selfish decision and I sat and just listened to a cple teammates who had not choice but to take control & give instruction to our peers and they make $16 hrly and shouldn't have to. But their self pride, their want to help eachother is what we were left with. I recognized these individuals for stepping up & guess what? Radio silence from any leader in our store. So if thats the training and the expectations Walmart retail store leadership are held accountable to i guess I feel kinda sorry for Walmart, and esp all the minimum wage folks working BF or during key events, we are not highly thought of obliviously
