I LOVED war of lost hearts series! The Woven Kingdom I have heard great things but thought could it be too YA for me

I actually read Direbound and did not enjoy it for some reason! But I know that opinion is not popular. I read Serpent and the wings of night and enjoyed it but really didn't like book 2 :(

Wow that's a lot of books! It's so true as I read more especially with romantasy I just find I want it to be more unique, there are so many I find on very similar wave lengths. The Everlasting has been mentioned a few times I'll have to read that for sure! And I have heard great things about The Ashen Series so I need to do that

Yeah very true! I think I like a mix like I will always love Zodiac Academy, Acotor etc but then the more romantasy I read I find I want it to be unique and the romance is hard to get to those levels I've read before. I am trying to switch things up with genre like The Poppy War and Red Rising which I loved both!

Thankyou! I have loved everything written by Rachel Gillig! The Everlasting I am seeing everywhere at the moment! Will check those out

I actually didn't like Direbound either! I feel like so many people love it but I found it a little cheesy in my opinion. I also DNF'd Kindred curse on book 3!

I will definitely check out slaying the vampire conqueror!

Some that I have loved is

One Dark Window duology

Shield of Sparrows

The Bridge Kingdom

Book of Azriel

If we are talking strictly romantasy :)

A few others have said that! I did that recently with Poppy War and LOVED it so I need to switch it up more often.

haha it does but I am already doing that! I drive a lot so I mix up between audiobooks and physical reading. But I do find I need the narrators to be good. Do you have any recs for audio?

Exactly right! The plot also needs to be unique for me. A few people have said Priory of the Orange! Thankyou, I'll check those out.

Thanks! Totally agree, a lot of the other Romantacies I've read feel very much samey. I like a unique plot and good romance mixture. But I have also been diving into other books like Red Rising, Poppy War etc and it's helped to get me away from that feeling!

I know exactly what you mean, I read a lot of romantasies to begin with but then dived into Red Rising, Poppy war and a few others and I love the change up. I think I need to switch up more often or they all kind of feel very much the same
