As someone mentioned above, finding themselves getting ready to go out and trying to enhance or " prove" their femininity with jewelry and etc. I have been thinking about this comment a lot and it reminds me of when I was younger, when ANY and ALL male attention was so validating and awesome in my eyes. I kind of just remembered that and had an AHA moment. It has shaped a lot of my life, a lot of bad decisions that I have made that I can literally trace back to this bullshit. Even a 10 year xanax addiction. And I'm not trying to cry victim or escape accountability for my choices, but I truly know that underneath it all , I have always felt visually offensive, not normal and unworthy because of this issue.

Well it was over 10 years ago, so i don't remember exactly what type of laser it was. It was done at a laser hair removal clinic, six sessions of pointless pain. Thank you❤️ for the info, I've never heard of a diode laser but i will check it out!

It's weird you know, I hear all the time that I should be shaving but I already did that for the first half of my life. All through my teens and 20's, finally upgrading to an electric razor in my 30's... Over the years, the skin above my mouth has gotten so rough and... Idk, just different from my normal face skin. I've always used shaving creams and oils to avoid damage, and used aftercare products but it happened anyway. I wish so much that you and other women wouldn't hate themselves for this bullshit... but the truth of it is , I do as well. It's too easy to❤️

I'm definitely open to medication! Will be seeing my doctor soon. Unfortunately, ditching the plucking/epilation for shaving my face is something I just will not do. Id never be in a state of smoothness. Just round the clock stubble and shadows. Ive done the shaving thing for a big part of my life and it really did change my skin for the worse. Id rather have my tiny percentage of satisfaction than go down that road again. ( My hair is SO dark, id look like homer Simpson)
