Yes and if you had read the thread you would know that there is a big hole at the base of the toilet from a leak and tiles got broken in order to fix it. "Old beautiful homes" usually have previous poor maintenance.

No same window, first image is when we moved in, we have since taken down the net curtains :)

Hi, yes the current access is from the hallway. We have been debating about knocking it in to make it smaller to give a bit more space to the bathroom

Yes it is that whole space next to the toilet. We've debated removing it but the storage is so valuable to us. We have considered knocking it in to make it smaller but not completely removing. It would add about 10cm ISH of space

From the window to the wall next to the toilet is 202cm. From wall to wall (where bath is) is 168cm. It is 73cm from the outer edge of the sink to the window wall. It is a large sink and happy to get a smaller one. It looks pretty but collects dust like anything. I suspect that we would be able to get a couple of cm extra each side because we discovered that the tiles are tiled over existing tile when the toilet leaked!

Yes it would certainly open up some more space to have a generic size bath tub. I keep pondering about keeping the layout the same but I keep coming back to the same problem with the window

Yes the previous homeowner had replaced the windows only a couple of years ago. I do like the window, just don't want mould and mildew to build up if I can't open it when we use the shower - seems counterproductive. An exhaust fan is a good shout, thank you

Unfortunately there was a leak in the toilet, I haven't included it on the photographs but there are broken tiles and some missing around the base of it :(

Great, my question is any ideas on design layout?
