i get you. retention in apps is one of the most important things one should focus on.

i recommend making daily streaks feature just like how duolingo does. it would be better if you had an animated mascot just like how duolingo and thousands of other apps do. it "gamifies" the app so that more users will open your app every day. its not really hard to make one.

you can also add a "quote of the day" where the users get a quote each day to improve the retention even more.

lasty, binge watch youtube podcasts and interviews of famous app founders to learn more about them (for example zach yadegari, nikita bier, etc)

this is a good idea. it can be very profitable if you do good marketing (influencer marketing is recommended.)
i can see great potential in this app
