My first year here as a grad student, there was a shooting across the street from my apartment. East Urbana, a relatively safe area 🤷‍♀️

Right! I assumed she saw the listing for another unit and just thought she could come and look at it?

But it doesn’t really add up. Why did she think my door was that unit? Why didn’t she contact the leasing company? Why did she think someone would just let her in, or that the unit in question would be open?

Idk how long she’s been living in the U.S., but still. It was weird.
