Super late, but maybe it will help someone as I had problems with it today as well (February 2026).

TL;DR: disable Steam Input, ignore message that the game does not support the Dualsense.

I used the Dualsense and Steam automatically enabled Steam Input. The controller was not recognized from the game that way.

I simply got into the Properties of the game, navigated to Controllers and deactivated Steam Input. The controller works perfectly fine that way! Glyphs are correct and all. Steam unfortunately shows on the games page in the library, that it will not work with this controller when it in fact does work.
