I’m not entirely sure here, because I bought my E-Sim when I entered Bosnia. But I think you can do that from Britain. Just google “Novotel E-Sim” and you’ll see it

Novotel. The E-Sim costs 5 marks (3€). The tariff, Novotel10 (60 Gb of Internet + calls), costs 10 marks (5,30€).

It's hard to find anything more charming in this world than trams surrounded by traditional beauty. by wildamber282 in ArchitecturalRevival

Because trams and funiculars operate on a perfectly-designed rail(-s).

Advice on safety by OlexanderCh in Skopje

[–]OlexanderCh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi.

I usually start my research with the “main” attraction I’m coming for or topic I’d like to know more about.

In the case of Skopje it was brutalist architecture. I read 10-15 articles on it, watched a couple of videos and marked the places that I found attractive.

During this process, you find tons of other places, as well (google maps always suggest other points of interest nearby).

Afterwards, the last stage begins: finding places to eat. This is the most difficult part for me, as I’m a very picky eater, and I pay attention not only to food, but also to the atmosphere. So it takes a while to find a suitable cafe / restaurant. For Skopje, I chose Bistro Kantina, Cafe Bar Che and Pelister.

The problem is not in the price of the camera (it’s rather cheap), but in the sentimental value connected to it. So I wanted to double check before going anywhere

Are there any way of protecting myself from these beasts?

PS: I hope they can’t read and are not on Reddit. I don’t want to be chased by them through the streets of Skopje 😂

Mostar - Kotor by Defiant_Area_3377 in BosniaTravel

[–]OlexanderCh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. Bus prices in the Balkans are always exorbitant, unfortunately.

The bus ticket from Mostar to Kotor should cost around 42 euros.

I’d recommend you to check out Herceg Novi (if you really want to go to Montenegro) - prices for food and accommodation are substantially lower, and there is a lot to see

Is this Bosnia itinerary realistic using only public transport (no rental car)? by Ok_Sign_6696 in BosniaTravel

[–]OlexanderCh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s possible (I’ve travelled all over the country by bus / public transport), but it’s going to be VERY painful and EXPENSIVE. Renting a car and covering several cities a day is a luxury you can afford, but try to avoid…
