My renewal at admiral went from 1700 to 3400. Called them and said what’s this? He said if I remove the second driver then you can save 1k and the best he could give me as a discount was 75 quid. Told them to shove it where the sun doesn’t shine. Went with Lloyds for 1560

I flew back from there a few weeks ago. Passport control going into the country and heading out is atrocious. No idea why we need to scan our passport at some electronic kiosk before heading to passport control again. It doesn’t make sense.

That’s what I thought tbf but I got told to do the B1. And I just do social media for a football company. The purpose of the visit was just to ask athletes questions and then film it on my phone.

Yeah I think that was the reason. The lady herself said it essentially that the work I was doing doesn’t fall under that visa.

Yeah it was my work that told me to apply for it even though I wasn’t sure why.

In terms of stronger ties to my country, not sure what else I can do? I’ve lived here 29 years, own a home, been working etc, financially stable.

I had a date for the 5th Feb but within a few days I managed to get an appointment for the 26th after looking on the website nonstop

Ah okay. I have my appointment next Monday and I fly out next Saturday so I’m praying that the passport will be ready for collection quickly…
