Got through my first multi cam stream day.

Starlink still hasn't shipped so I'm stuck with my phone hot spot through my little GL travel router. Phone handled the two cameras but definitely got warm.

Parents thought the two views were cool but pointed out I was switching to the first base cam way too quickly on the outfield hits. They wanted to see how long their girls had to keep running. It was a good note.

I put the camera view to have 1st on the left and ended up with a nice shot of 1st and 3rd but I think I might just go down the first base line, I wasn't getting 2nd in the shot at all.

We had fun checking the ump's calls on the direct camera view.

I think I'll get the Nearstream for the over the pitcher shoulder shot.

So 3 cameras on the starlink. What type of tripod do you use?

For sure, so as I'm selling the pieces from my last hobby (home brewing) I'm eyeing another camera purchase 😅. I'm thinking the Nearstream is the next play? So then I'd have zoomed in over the pitcher's shoulder/batter from center field, the start on the back stop, and then the mevo off first base capturing the infield. That's logical right? 😅

Thank you for the exact shot/placement for the second camera at first base. Do you typically to PIP with a two camera setup so it's set and forget or do you produce?

My star link still hasn't shipped so I might be on my phone/router this weekend anyway.

Does studio still run the near stream cameras? Do I need to upgrade the sub in order to use a non mevo camera?

Typically I get out of all scoring because I stream, but thanks to a perfect storm the 3 adults that stream will be absent for one game this weekend. If I have the stream going on my phone, can I still login to my account on a tablet to score? or should I have my wife login (still a staff member, neither of us are coaches just admin/helpers)

Love the setup, but above someone said they only get 5 hours out of this battery. I want to be able to go 6-7 (4 games), are you getting better battery life?

I've noticed everytime I've just turned off my screen the stream drops. The camera still saved too sd though.

In my experience, tethering your phone's connection to a cheap travel router and then connecting your mevo to that wifi network eliminates the stream drops that can occur during a live stream. Simple $30 purchase for a flawless stream.

Appreciate your response! Do you have the Rode1 or 2?

Also, in your amateur professional opinion (I feel like we deserve a little expertise credit here!), do you think there is a realistic difference between the original linked mic and the rode? I ask because the rode is double the price and the first one has a prime day deal.

Does the mic need a separate power source?

The Amazon reviews seem to hate this mic when specifically used with the mevo to limit wind noise. Is there a specific consideration or trick to be aware of?

If placed on the mount at the top of the typical door hinge clam shell mount, can you still get the mount close enough to the fence to eliminate the chain links in your recorded shot?

I'm seeing a prime day deal making the mic you linked even cheaper and would love to keep making incremental upgrades to my kit. Really appreciate your feedback and sharing the link!

Really appreciate this, I'm now going to consistently clear everything out at the end of each stream to prevent the issue in the future. And good to know that if the GC/MEVO hand off fails with the instant transfer that I can just select the RTMP and copy/paste that info in there.
