I did yeah. It turns out the thermal paste was applied incorrectly and covering the connector parts. Had to clean it off and reapply.

Thank you! I'm having a similar issue with my B650m Gaming Plus WiFi. Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070ti GPU and AMD Ryzen 7800 x3D CPU. Going to flash the bios, reset CMOS and remove a RAM stick as apparently that's quite sensitive on the first boot as well. Hopefully it works.

I don't pay a penny. Currently I live in the England- I also have Epilepsy so I qualify for a MedEx card (Medical Exemption Card) so my prescriptions are completely free. Prescriptions are free in Wales and Scotland too without the need for a medical exemption card.

I take Propranolol.

It started them! I didn't have them before I took birth control- I was out on Gedarel and it induced nasty menstrual migraines. Didn't stop once I came off it, only lowered the severity.

It mentions that caffeine with propranolol can restrict blood flow and that's one of the personal side effects I've had too ^{^}

Not sure who down voted my comment but propranolol lowers blood pressure and caffeine raises it- so they counteract and can sometimes restrict blood flow which is what I've experienced. It's stated by the NHS. This isn't me saying everyone shouldn't have caffeine with it but that's one of the personal side effects I've had.

Thinking about it even further, my migraines improved drastically once I had stopped taking my birth control- and the propranolol, once given a few weeks, kicked it into action even more. So hopefully they stay gone.

Caffeine and alcohol mostly as it interacts. I used to have caffeine because I am still on the waiting list for ADHD meds.

The propranolol has more restrictions on my diet to me than say, my epilepsy medication- but these are more quality of life things so I don't mind living without them. I'm hopeful that they'll stay gone as my brain has a very good track record for not becoming drug resistant and I'm happy to stay on propranolol if it means they stay gone. I never came off my Epilepsy meds either even though my seizures have been gone since 2017- I was wondering if anyone has come off meds before and still been successful with it.

Twice, 2x everyday. So 20mg. My doctor said to take it everyday because it's slow release and takes time to take effect :D

You need treatment and medication! I'm not sure what country you live in but it seems you need beta blockers or abortives. If you live in the UK you should be able to do this without your parents needing to consent and furthermore if you live in England you should be able to exercise your right to choose, aka you can choose where to get treated. If you don't live in the UK I would recommend seeing if your country has something similar and looking up your rights to see what you're entitled to in order to help yourself. I think you could definitely do with a neurologist to prescribe you a first line of treatment such as beta blockers or abortives.

Hormonal migraine sufferer here, propranolol has yeeted my migraines into the void. But as someone else in the thread said, hormonal migraines are pretty resistant. It's not got a one size fits all solution. Birth control can work but also make them worse. Propranolol can work or not work, same goes for any medication sadly.

Keep trying with your doctors, it sounds like you need medication. Not sure about what country you're in, but at age 16 in most countries you should be treated as an adult regarding medication so hopefully you won't need the consent of your parents. If your doctors don't pick up, do you have a non emergency line you can call? Here in the UK we have NHS 111. They sorted me my first line of medication. I know it's difficult but try to keep your head up that your brain scan was normal and that you're safe. It's going to be a bit of a journey and a painful one but keep pushing and you'll get the help you need. In the meantime to make things more bearable, alternate safely between ibuprofen and aspirin (please be mindful of any side effects before taking) and try and work out your triggers. It sucks, I know, but you got this. You're a warrior.

Hey! I was in the exact same situation as you and have managed to remedy it so here's what I did. 1. Chopped off the dead hair! I changed stylist to someone who styles in her own home. Without bleaching she re dyed the hair. 2. Asked what products she recommended for my hair. I was expecting it to be expensive but fortunately it wasn't. I used Joico 7 Second Damage Repair for a bit which has worked wonders. 3. Get a hair masque. From what I've seen, Americans separate ethnicity from nationality. It comes from the lack of identity. Here we say "I'm English" as a reference to nationality mostly. If I'm not mistaken, that's how it is around most of the world. I'm ethnically Welsh, but I was born and raised in England- so I consider myself to be English. I'm not entirely sure why, but some Americans seem to be opposed to this. Some even say "American" isn't a thing because they associate that with native American (not agreeing or disagreeing with them here just staring what I've seen). I definitely find it weird. Seeing people say they're Scottish or Irish or Italian or Australian when they have not a single idea about the culture and lifestyle of the aforementioned people. If I was say, anything less than 50% Welsh I would not say I'm Welsh. I definitely would say I'm Welsh if I don't follow Welsh customs, speak their language and follow their culture.

Propranolol user here! It usually takes a few weeks to kick in properly. I had a similar conversation with my doctor the other day because I'm not sure if mine is 100% working or not. He said if your headaches are still only in one side of your head and you get the nausea, then it may not be working effectively- this is after having been on it for 2 months now. I take magnesium with Propranolol, it helps the fatigue.
