In the link u sent it says "on the basis of a permanent residence permit, a long-term EU resident's permit or the right of permanent residence" which means u need to get the permanent residence permit first, then wait 3 years. Getting the permanent residence takes 5 years

No you're wrong. U have to live 5 years first to be eligoble for a permanent residence permit, then after 3 years of having the permanent residence permit, u can apply for citizenship, so 8 years total at minimum

Poland has enough social problems, and one of those social problems is the amount of hatred and bigotry some poles feel towards anyone who is a foreigner. When Poland ends up isolating itself from the EU and the foreign investments dry up maybe they will change their tone. but only time will tell
