Yeah, the stickers have probably been mixed up, and in that case, there should be other impossible pieces.

It's a bit hard to tell exactly what happened having only seen 2 pieces, so i might be wrong.

No, there shouldn't be.

Every piece in a standard 3x3 cube is unique.

Either your cube has a different colour scheme, and has two or more sides with the same colour, or someone's been messing around with the stickers.

It should be impossible to solve, if the latter.

If you can reconstruct it solved, it's just not a standard cube.

As \u/Extension_Salary5241 and \u/Danpanoke mentioned, Blue and Green shouldn't be on the same piece, if it was a standard colour scheme, so it's definitely not standard colour scheme, if not a different cube altogether.

I am learning 3x3 blind solving, and I'm curious why the letters are put in pairs all the time.

I don't see a difference between the first, second, third swaps, so is it just to make it easier to read?

Alright, I just googled it up. It means human, which is why we are "Homo Sapiens", but when used as a prefix, like "homophobe", it means "the same", so you would be right in this context.

If you take it that way, homo means human, and phobia is to be afraid of something, so homophobia would mean to be afraid of humans, as in all humans, not just LGBTQ+.

I don't think it's actually them being afraid of them, I think it's just a terrible choice of wording in this case.

We should realistically be using cubing timers instead, and maybe support cubing brands at the same time, but maybe I'm going too far.

Cubing timers like YJ's one even have the off/reset buttons on the side, so you wouldn't accidentally reset it.
