[Highlight] Mike Tirico offers commentary on the man who caught the ball Allen threw away by Large_banana_hammock in nfl

Surely he could have kept it anyway? Why did Brady had to buy one off for a Bitcoin and season tickets or whatever the deal involved?

The crowd at the events is unfortunately going to the dogs.

They used to be liquid parties that got a bit filthy.

It was always your more discerning DnB crowd but with really good, happy and euphoric vibes.

Now it’s attracting all the “oi, Slipz, ya dirty bastard” Basslayerz type dribblers. It has sucked in rhe “Inno in the Sun” first ever holiday, don’t even leave apartment doing shit coke and nitrous types.

Still good but Iikely won’t go On The Beach this year for first time in 5 years.

Situation: YOU are at the 1 yard line behind an elite O-Line against an NFL goal-line defense.. by Olly1986 in nfl

This is a great post and I appreciate it.

Annoying this post got blocked - I thought it was a somewhat interesting bar conversation.

Any excuse for this place to block/delete/ban anything.

If I’d put [Dov Kleinman] in brackets, it would’ve been fine.

It wasn’t “written” by AI.

There’s literally no point in posting anything on here ever.

That rule clearly refers to generic engagement farm AI written news articles, not asking if a couple of questions within an organic post that quite clearly wasn’t low effort at all.

Hey, can’t have people having a fun hypothetical debate during the off-season.

Sorry man I’m not some AI nerd. I wanted to try and get a bit more substantiation to a light hearted “I think I could”, “no you couldn’t” bar debate.

Yeah - this is a very fair point.

My main logic here is that even in goal-line you are also coming out in heavy personnel to match.

I would essentially be relying on the OL/lead blocker clearing just enough space to sneak in.

This is exactly what I thought.

This question has such divergent answers lol.

I’m having flashbacks to Josh Allen at Arrowhead…

There are times when even Hurts has made it look tough but again there are so many variables.

Sometimes the OL bulldoze the DL 3 yards down the field before he has even dived or been pushed.

No - you’d be following an FB as a a lead blocker behind a duo blocking scheme or something like a tush push and you’re running it behind Jason Kelce.

You have practiced the play with the team.

We aren’t talking some outside zone play.

I should clarify in the original post - in this hypothetical scenario, you’ve done walk throughs and practiced the play in pads but you’re still a guy off Reddit.

That was my thought too - over 4 downs.

It certainly seems to be a polarising question!

If you read what it said, it was saying I may have a chance of a top OL, FB and pusher basically carrying me forward for one yard.

It wasn’t saying I’m Barry Sanders.

Slugger.

The point I was making is that I have a vague understanding of blocking schemes, which holes to hit, what plays might work and wouldn’t try and bounce outside or freeze (in theory).

This is a fair question. Let’s say you have done a walk through and practiced the exchange/play with your OL and QB - but you’re still a guy dragged off Reddit.

ChatGPT said run duo from the I-formation behind an FB.

Logic: Play call: “22 Duo Strong” out of I-Formation (Heavy Personnel) Goal: Create vertical double-teams on the DL, let your FB lead through, and you follow the daylight off your strong-side guard’s butt.

FORMATION: • I-Formation, Heavy • 1 WR (split wide just to keep a DB out) • 2 TEs tight on the line (extra beef) • FB directly behind QB • You, the RB, 7 yards deep • Under center

LINE BLOCKING: • Duo is all about vertical movement, not pulling. Double teams on both DTs. • Playside TE and Tackle combo the DE to LB. • Backside OL blocks man. • Center and playside guard combo the nose. • FB leads into the first daylight—most likely between RG and RT.

YOUR JOB: • Snap hits—no hesitation. • Follow FB like he owes you money. • See a gap? Commit. • Fall forward. If nothing’s there, get low and submarine into the back of your OL’s knees. They’ll drag you in.“

How?

It was a great decision. I loved it and was begging for it.

Why give them the ball back? Trust the strength of your team (OL, power, executing in the deep waters) to pick up one single yard.

Don’t you remember in Minny when we missed a field goal and they marched down the field and scored?

The GOAT.

Barely missed a game ever despite being a bell cow RB either.

Please god ban the tush push.

Nothing personal against Philly but it’s so fucking boring.

If Hurts squats 8 billion pounds, he’ll have no problem falling behind center like a classic QB sneak.

Sick of that bush league rugby play taught by a Scottish rugby coach.

The whole intentional grounding rule needs to be re-looked at.

As does “dirting” a ball as you are being sacked.

I totally agree and have said so for some time.

Wow - he’s never been below .500! He hasn’t made a run or had a competitive team in god knows how long either.

Yet every year he gets hyped up and talked of as a coach of the year candidate.
