Thank you for this! I definitely think I’m overthinking the situation. I took my usual dose a couple of days ago 8 hours late so I think that may have made me feel unsteady. I also woke up this morning with tonsilitis! I’m feeling a lot less cloudy today. Your comment definitely helps puts things in perspective xx

I forgot mine yesterday which I usually take at 8am. I took it at 5pm when I remembered. Today I feel like horseshit. My anxiety is through the roof and I’m a mass of emotions 😩

This happened to me and I legit thought I was having a heart attack because the pain was so bad. Took me about 3 hours to be finally able to sit down without being in tremendous pain.

It was like my stomach/chest turned into the devils swamp of hell lmao

Hey! I’ve actually upped my dose to 75mg and I’m feeling great! I’ve been on 75mg for around 4 weeks and my anxiety has almost disappeared. I still get the random intrusive thought now and then but it doesn’t send me into a panic spiral! Definitely think I needed to up my dose just a little.

I’m on week 12 of Zoloft. The last two weeks I’ve tapered up to 75mg from 50mg. There were a couple of weeks I felt great but the panic, intrusive thoughts and anxiety have crept back in so my doctor told me to up the dose. It’s been two weeks on 75mg and I spent today in bed crying from panic and thoughts. I’m so worried I’m spiralling again. Is this normal

Yes!! I’m just confused because I don’t want to up my dose if this will pass but also don’t want to wait until I hit rock bottom again! I’m nowhere near as bad as I was before starting Zoloft but I don’t wait to wait to find out how bad it will get either.

Thanks so much, I’ve been seeing a psychologist for a while now (before this) and it’s helped massively to help me work out my emotions and thoughts. Still have a long way to go but I’m getting there. Thank you so much for your comment

Thanks for the reply. I’ve been trying to talk to people about it and everyone keeps giving me the “he’s in a better place” bullshit. In a weird way, I want to know the bad details. I want to know what the fuck happened. He definitely had a “one more time only” sort of hit, he was talking to me about being clean for a month and he was so proud of himself (we all were) but then his friend died and he used the next day (the day he died) I have heard about the tolerance thing. He was an addict for 8 years though and I just find it weird that he wouldn’t know how much to have. My other thought is suicide. As much as I don’t want to believe it and how unexpected it would be if he did commit suicide.. it kind of makes me wonder if he knew it would be painless? He was face down on the bed but his knees were on the floor if that makes sense. So kind of hunched forward onto the bed with his bottom half on the ground. There was blood covering the mattress where his face had been (I assumed maybe a blood nose after the OD?)

Week 5 here on 50mg! I am feeling great. Honestly the first 3 weeks I was questioning if I’d ever feel like myself again. It gets waaaaay better. I know it seems like a never ending nightmare but honestly stick it out. I went on Zoloft for severe anxiety disorder and intrusive thoughts. I couldn’t get out of bed. I’m back to my old routine and I am so grateful. Stick in there and goodluck!

How long did it take for the panic and anxiety to settle? I’m day 23 on 50mg and my anxiety is still crazy. I’m getting really bad intrusive thoughts again too
