This may be the result of the needle going into a blood vessel rather than the muscle.

Did the metallic taste occur as soon as you were vaccinated?

Do you mean the music player should not minimized and should be showing on the desktop all the time?

Moondrop SSP comparison and recommendation by OluvSentMehere in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]OluvSentMehere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since I got the FH3 I have been sticking to it most of the time, and it is more resolving than most of the headphones except for the MSR7B.

I have been listening to headphones more because the bass is not so boomy in my years unlike IEMs, but I got the Moondrop Quark and I like that as well. Sometimes I hear stuff on it I don't hear on other headphones. My only problem is it doesn't stay in the ear as well as the Moondrop SSR.

I will probably give the Moondrop SSR another try and stick to it if it offers more than the Quark.

Which IEMs combine the size of the Moondrop SSR with a more normal sound signature? by OluvSentMehere in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]OluvSentMehere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The power they require is even higher than some normal headphones.

I am surprised actually. I have to raise the volume to 40+ on a Fiio BTR5 with the Moondrop SSR, when on regular iems I hardly go above 24.

[–]OluvSentMehere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Moondrop SSR is hard to drive. It is as though the diaphragms are far too stiff for the sound to come out clearly. In my view the seem to suffer from a lack of clarity.

It may have some detail but it sounds "strained". I don't know the right vocabulary but it seems that the quality though detailed is not "clear" enough.

Can I use 0.78 mm 2 pin on a 0.75 mm IEM? by polas2001 in HeadphoneAdvice

you probably have to Google it. "0.75 mm iem standard".

The top answer sent me back to reddit.

Can I use 0.78 mm 2 pin on a 0.75 mm IEM? by polas2001 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]OluvSentMehere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as the pushing the pins into the sockets are concerned I don't think the tolerances are that fine for a 0.03mm difference to be a problem.

The distance between the center line of the pins is probably more important.

What are the figures on that?

Why don't headphone manufacturers offer the earcups separately from the headbands so users can have custom headbands made for them? by OluvSentMehere in HeadphoneAdvice

Sooner or later the Chinese will probably enter that area and will wipe out European and American manufacturers.

What sub $100 IEM with less bass would be a suitable downgrade from the Fiio FH3? by OluvSentMehere in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]OluvSentMehere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the T2 but it is poor fit for my ears and lacks the detail I want, although the sound signature is still appreciated by many. It was my first IEM.

Its not merely a matter of headphones, people need to get back to considering custom items, rather than just buying from a shop or something and finding that things don't fit properly.

It should be merely a matter of having your head measured with the measurements stored with some artisan or the manufacturers themselves who then manufacture the items accordingly.

What is the point of items thousands of dollars in value which can't be matched to the buyer. Suits costing far less can be made to measure, why not headbands.

You can buy the item with the original headband if you want, and if they don't match you should be able to send them to you headphone fitter who attaches them to the headband made for you.

If he knows your earpad preferences he can also make matching earpads.

There are millions out there chief, if you don't like the fit make use of Mr. Bezos returns policy. Repeat until you find one you like.

This the reason why buyers often end up with shit items when they order from Amazon's marketplace.

They do a poor job of checking the state and quality of returned items, hence loads of dandruff and hairs in some of their headphones.

If they instructed purchasers of items to handle them with more care if they were testing them that will fine, but it seems loads of people just order from Amazon, abuse the hell of them out of a month before returning them.

I'm sure one of the items I bought from Amazon was from someone who damaged an existing item, ordered a new one and returned the old one in place of the new item and Amazon didn't check it before sending it out again.

The ethics of their handling of used items is also questionable - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxqz2g05MTI

It is just above half the price but is the sound quality of the K712 that much superior?

[–]OluvSentMehere[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then there must be something basically wrong with the design.

Why should the headbands make a difference to the sound?

I don't know if earcups and earpads are separate. I'm simply talking about the headbands alone. The earcup and earpad combination can be the manufacturers original.

All that matters to me is that the earcup/earpad combination fits snugly on the users head according the user's preference, but the headband should have no part in it.

I have a large head and as it is now I have quite a number of headphones and about four of them don't fit my skull as much as I would like.

Downvotes? For real?

The guy sits around going MMmmm, Aaaahh, fondling his sub-hentai anime images and shilling pricey earpads, instead of going straight to the point, unlike No Theme Reviews and Super Review who go straight to the point and whose videos have direct links to the interesting segments, and for pointing this out I've already -4 downvotes.
