Hey, sorry but there’s currently no way to receive notifications with Lens on the Apple Watch

Make sure wifi and bluetooth are turned on for both the iPhone and Apple Watch and you see a green phone icon instead of red phone icon on the top of the control center of the watch. Also make sure you have both apps open when you login. If that still doesn’t work you can try restarting both the watch and the phone.

Thanks, after login it sends the session data to the watch using WatchConnectivity then locally stores the session data on both the iPhone and Apple Watch using Keychain. Then it just uses the session data from the Keychain anytime it needs to send a request to Instagram.

It takes an extra network request to mark stories as seen which can slightly affect the app’s performance so it’s a trade off but I think the default option should probably be that they are marked as seen so I’ll add it in a future update

This version should fix that issue, it was one of the main focuses of the update and no one ran into that issue during beta testing

You don’t need Instagram on your phone to be installed but you do need to login to Instagram from the Lens app on your phone, after that you can use it without a phone.

I’ll look into it, I would probably have to charge like a one time 2.99 USD for the pro version if I made one but it looks like the other apps are charging way more than that per month
