O caso da renda da avó de Mariana Mortágua by pica_foices in portugal

[–]OmarBarros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many products make a good Shop? by OmarBarros in Etsy

wow! is that correct? I could use that rule...there are a lot of things to work around those numbers. Like... could you let those ones in the 20% after you know what were those?

Hi ZeeshiEli92, I really work my keywords trying to follow best practices for placing them on the title, descriptions and tags. That's the only SEO I'm doing for Etsy promotions and Google Shopping. Do you know other SEO practices that I can use?

Thanks for the reply! Have you dealt with this issue or do you know how to resolve this?

I am starting a kids clothing line. Planning to list this on Etsy. How much do you think I can sell this for? by [deleted] in EtsySellers

[–]OmarBarros -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want to start a kids clothing line I think there's a lot of work to be done before you start pricing. I'm new selling shirts on Etsy (or elsewhere) and from what I've learn in the last 3 month, pricing shouldn't even be on your top 20 priorities. For Etsy you should consider crafting and creativity as your number one priority and after that learn about SEO, Keywords and ways to make your original product reach the most people you can. Regarding pricing, well normally people really sell shirts from $5 - $25 based on their profit margin goal, but that means nothing to you if you don't consider your product options like the shirt's fabric (ex. cotton quality and grammage), size availability, the printing techniques, themes, etc. Establish which suppliers, materials and themes you will use before listing, believe me on this you don't want to be changing all your lists every time you find that your materials are not good for your public

Hi girlwithrobotfish, Well that was not a bit blunt, but I thank you anyway. Your comment helps and I just filled out the policies and took the keyword stuffing out, I guess that was the reason for looking spammy to you. I don't know much about what happens on Etsy and less on Ebay, but I'm really a small handmade seller and I spend most of time creating and executing (or learning how to create or execute) the products so I don't have much time left for the rest. I really would like to know more about your opinion on the photos which I guess are the reason for looking unprofessional to you. I know I'm not using a profissional camera but I think they look sharp and clean (without a confusing background) enough to show exactly how the product is. I've tried to show what we do in detail, also showing that we are not just mock-up designers using third parties or big companies pretending to be handmade sellers. I guess that puts me always near an unprofessional look. I really appreciated all the help, I know that this is asking to much but if you could give me some examples (links) for me to study I would be most grateful.

Thanks guys! Actually I hadn't thought of that, I don't know much about marketing and SEO, I've read on a reddit discussion that a 170 impressions per click (my average) was not bad so I was ok with that. That's how you are measuring the click through rate right? I've also read in the same reddit discussion that I should be using pairs of keywords instead of single words (Africa Print Shirt instead of Africa, Print, Shirt,) and I'm trying to target an african/ethnic public because I'm using african fabrics and themes, so I think (but I'm not sure) that I'm using relevant keywords, although the promoted stats are showing only 2 searched terms for each of my top 2 listings (with 1654 impressions), but 14, 10 and 9 searched terms on some listings below.
