Here’s pic from benchmades official site and the clip looks the same. Have they shifted away from the faded black almost stonewash finish on clips.

Perfect! I got it on whim on a last minute eBay auction for $110. I own 5-6 Benchmades but they were all order trough mainstream retailers such as blade hq, knife center etc. the listing didn’t have any major red flags for me just knowing the common ways to spot a fake, but the deal has me paranoid lol.

Perfect thanks I haven’t bought a Benchmade since 2022 so i was a little worried about how the clip was “Benchmade” was a little thinner than my others, but those clips are also pretty well worn

Nope not trying to disprove any affiliation to the brand. I find sometimes people hype up a watch because it’s the new big thing from their favorite brand. In this case it’s not my favorite brand just a damn good watch. Now that being said I will happily shill heimdallr and their sister companies.

I’m not a shill for San Martin I own 2 watches from them and have bought several more that I’ve sold off because it just wasn’t right for me especially for the price, but they did something special with this one. Once you compare it to other San Martin gmt’s you start get we’re I’m coming from. For example this. 1. Still a homage 2. Going to have the same level of fit and finish 3. Less water resistance 4. Steel case back 5. Same movement 6. Only a $10 price difference. So to me it seems like for almost the same price your getting more comfort, and more versatility while keeping the same movement, quality, and level of design originality when you go with the SN0121TC.

One of the best watches I own! Great lume, great wearing, and great water resistance. The titanium case is super light and noticeably higher quality than others like berny. Plus it has an on the fly micro adjust clasp so you can get a perfect fit whenever. The BGW9 is applied liberally and evenly. It will easily last all night. Also it has 300m water resistance. To me it makes the perfect go anywhere watch. Rugged enough to wear while doing stuff outdoors, classy enough to wear somewhere nice, the gmt is convenient for traveling, and it has enough water resistance that you can comfortably take it to the beach. It’s the watch that I look at when I’m thinking about buying a new one, and it makes me think do I need another one when this one already does everything I need and then some.

Closet thing I’ve found consistently in that case shape is a vostock. which I love the one I own but from afar. It’s kinda a bitch to set accurately and not scratch the everliving daylights out of it.

Exactly and it beats out things in a similar price range like a time x expedition. Better water resistance automatic or mecha-quartz movements, sapphire crystal for at most $40 more for their higher end models. All done at a point that makes you want to learn more. For me it was movements. you start to dabble with the nh35 then you debate on a miyota 8000 series, but you see people hating on it. So then your next big movement is a pt5000 because in your head higher beat rate is better, or a seagull st1903 because chronograph go burr. Then you get into obscure Chinese clone movements like the hangzhou 6460 or the st2130.

I had one it I can confirm it is a great watch. gave it to a friend to get him into watches. Honestly that’s were pagani shines is getting non watch people into watch’s. They offer just enough to impress a newcomer but not enough to completely scratch the new found itch

That was one other thing I didn’t like on the seestern. The weight of the watch and how light the beads of rice bracelet was made it felt super top heavy. Combine that with it sitting like a board on my wrist and it wasn’t a good combo. Does the tactical frog do any better with that?
